It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about your future right now. If you've lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you may feel that there are not many people who understand your deep hurt. GriefShare is a place to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life.
Each GriefShare weekly session has three distinct elements:
1) Video Teaching: The video features top experts on grief and recovery subjects, real-life case studies, dramatic reenactments and on-location video.
2) Group Discussion: Your group will discuss what was presented and what's happening in your life.
3) Personal Study and Reflection: During the week you will be encouraged to use your workbook resource for further personal study of the grieving process and to work out your emotions through journaling.
Join Anytime: Each session is "self-contained" and you are welcome to begin attending anytime. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin and you do not have to attend in sequence.
GriefShare meets Thursdays from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm in the Library.
